What We Do
We aim to foster community and solidarity in our fight against food insecurity
At the Redeemers Food Bank, we fight hunger and provide food relief to the vulnerable. As one of Canada’s food security charities, we aim to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry. We strive to create a society where access to nutritious food is a fundamental right for all individuals, regardless of their circumstances.
Through our various programs and initiatives, we work towards reducing food insecurity and improving the overall well-being of the communities we serve.

Partnership with Wholesalers and Retailers
Our partnership with wholesalers enables us to acquire large quantities of food at discounted rates. These wholesalers often have surplus or slightly imperfect items that would otherwise go to waste.
Generous wholesalers donate to the food bank instead of letting surplus items waste. This collaboration helps ensure that the food bank receives nutritious food items to distribute to individuals and families facing hunger.
We also work closely with retailers such as grocery stores and local businesses.
These partnerships involve setting up store collection points where customers can donate non-perishable food items or make monetary contributions. Retailers may also donate unsold but edible food products to the food bank, reducing waste and supporting their local community.

Partnerships with Organizations and Individuals
We work closely with other non-profits, community groups, and social service organizations to coordinate efforts and efficiently distribute food resources. By joining forces, we can reach a broader network of individuals and communities in need, ensuring that food assistance is provided to those most in need.
Additionally, we greatly value the support of individuals and organizations who generously contribute to our mission. Through donations of food, funds, or volunteer time, individuals and businesses play a crucial role in helping us provide meals to those facing hunger. Their contributions help us expand our reach and impact more lives.
At the Redeemers Food Bank Canada, we aim to foster community and solidarity in our fight against food insecurity. By working with organizations and individuals, we create a network of support that enables us to make a significant difference in the lives of those struggling to access adequate food.

Feed School Students
The Redeemers Food Bank Canada recognizes the importance of ensuring that school students have access to nutritious meals. We have implemented programs and initiatives specifically designed to address food insecurity among students especially in the Indigenous communities.
We strive to provide meals and snacks to students needing more consistent access to adequate nutrition. These programs are especially vital for students from low-income backgrounds or those facing challenging circumstances.
We aim to alleviate hunger among school students, as proper nutrition is essential for their overall well-being and academic success. We recognize the critical role that a healthy breakfast plays in students’ overall well-being and academic performance.
Through our partnerships with schools, we establish breakfast programs that offer nutritious meals to students at the start of their school day. These programs ensure students have the energy and nutrients to focus, learn, and thrive in the classroom.
If you want to support our mission to feed school students or want to learn more about our programs, please contact us directly. Together, we can make a difference in students’ lives by ensuring they have access to nutritious meals and the opportunity to succeed academically.
