We have a small staff at the Redeemers Foodbank, so we depend a lot on teams and individuals who give their time to help us get food to people who need it.

As a volunteer at the Redeemers Food Bank, you will be able to actively contribute to our mission of providing nutritious meals to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Your support will help ensure that no one in our community goes to bed hungry.

There are various ways you can get involved and lend a helping hand. You can assist in sorting and organizing food donations, checking expiration dates, and ensuring that all items are in good condition. By doing so, you will help us maintain a well-organized inventory and guarantee that the food we distribute is safe and of high quality.

Additionally, we often need volunteers to pack food boxes or bags, preparing them for distribution to our clients. This crucial task ensures that individuals and families receive a well-rounded selection of essential food items tailored to their needs.

If you have excellent interpersonal skills, you can also volunteer as a client greeter, warmly welcoming individuals as they arrive at our food bank. You will inform them about the available resources, answer their questions, and offer support and empathy during their visit.

Furthermore, we appreciate volunteers willing to assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, answering phone calls, and helping with fundraising events. These behind-the-scenes efforts are vital to keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
