Prices are rising and hard, several working mums and families are suffering. It’s not fair.

“I often go hungry just so my boys can eat. I try to make it clear that the food has to last. Anyone with teenage boys can tell you how hard that is. A hamper from Redeemers Food bank provides enough food to get through the week. Please consider making a donation so mums like me don’t go hungry. I know I’m not alone. More and more hard-working families are finding themselves in the same situation as me.” – Tina, mother of two.

Big or small, every gift you give helps transform lives.

A Bowl of Hope

“There was a little boy named James in a world filled with struggles. He knew the sting of hunger all too well, as his family could barely afford to put food on the table.

One day, James stumbled upon the Redeemers Food Bank. With hesitation, he entered, his eyes wide with uncertainty. The volunteers greeted him warmly, their kind words enveloping his fragile heart.

James saw shelves filled with provisions and hope as he entered the food bank. His small hands reached for a simple bowl of warm soup. The taste brought tears to his eyes; it was a taste he hadn’t experienced in a long time.

That bowl of soup became a symbol of comfort and nourishment for James. It filled not only his belly but also his spirit with renewed strength and resilience.

Grateful for the kindness he received, James promised himself that one day, he would give back. And so, as years passed, he worked hard, studied diligently, and became successful.

True to his promise, James returned to the Redeemers Food Bank, not as a recipient but as a donor. With every donation, he hoped to give another child like him a chance to find hope in a simple bowl of food.

Your donation to the Redeemers Food Bank can be that bowl of hope for someone in need. Together, we can bring nourishment, strength, and the promise of a better tomorrow.”

We are seeking your generous support to help us continue our mission and make a positive impact on the lives of individuals and families facing food insecurity.

Hunger is a pervasive issue affecting millions of people worldwide, including right here in our neighbourhoods. Unfortunately, circumstances such as unemployment, low wages, and unforeseen crisis can lead to food insecurity for many individuals and families struggling to make ends meet.

At the Redeemers Food Bank, we believe no one should go to bed hungry, and we are working tirelessly to ensure that basic nutritional needs are met for those who need it most.

However, we cannot do this alone. As a non-profit organization, we heavily rely on the support and generosity of individuals like you who are willing to make a difference. Every dollar donated to the Redeemers Food Bank helps us provide meals to those who would otherwise go without. Whether a small contribution or a more significant gift, your donation will directly impact the lives of individuals and families in our community, offering them a lifeline in their time of need.
